"Both women and men have the same spiritual potential and the same capacities for realization. A long time ago, Tara was a woman who made the promise to attain Buddhahood to benefit beings infinitely. The monks were glad of their decision, and advised her to pray to get a body of man in a future life, which would allow her to serve others and Dharma better than in an existence as a woman.
She, a little sad about this mental narrowness, replied from the point of view of the ultimate nature of things: "There is no man here, there is no woman, There is no me, there is no individual, there is no category. "Man" and "woman" are nothing more than denominations, created by the confusion of the perverse minds of this world. Until the Samsara is empty, I will seek the good of beings under a female appearance. " This was her promise. Her practice immediately allowed her obtain the ultimate truth, and establish millions of people on the path of awakening."
