Du Sum (from Tibetan language: དུས་གསུམ ) = Three Times (Past, present and future)
Sang Tong (from Tibetan language: གསང་སྟོང་། ) = name given by the venerable Lama Drubgyu Tenpa. Dusum Sangtong (Joan Anton Mateu Jansana) ~ Singer, multi-style composer and musician keyboardist from Barcelona (Spain), born in 1974 🎵 Loves nature and home made food 🌲🍲 This work is dedicated to the Buddhist community Dag Shang Kagyu, the masters Kyabje Dorje Chang Kalu Rinpoche Karma Rangjung Kunkhyab, Dalai Lama, Karmapa, Tai Situ Rinpoche, Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche, Lama Drubgyu, Lama Orgyen, Lama Phuntsok, Lama Sonam Wangchuk, Lama Kelsang... 🙏 I've been making music since I was a child. I think that composing is something natural and spontaneous. Love technology and recording, and I have both training: classical music in Conservatory of Barcelona, Spain, and also technology, electronics and computing applied to music. Anyway I am mostly self-taught through working, playing and jamming with keyboards and voice, live and in the recording studio, with different bands and as a solo artist. With the Lama's permission, with love and the utmost respect, I wholeheartedly share with you the music that comes to me as I play the keyboard while reciting the mantras and prayers of Tibetan Buddhism. Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for my mother and father for giving me this precious human life and caring for me, and for the lamas and teachers who have transmitted and continue to transmit the Dharma (and will continue to do so until we are completely liberated from samsara). May this music help you relax, reflect, meditate, awaken your curiosity, and inspire you! May all beings, our mothers, be liberated from suffering through the merit of this work! May it be of benefit to you! May we all attain Buddhahood in a single lifetime! "May this tradition endure and expand until the end of the cycle of existence." དུས་གསུམ་གསང་སྟོང་། |
